How much does new fencing cost?+
Fencing is quoted per project, not per metre, the cost depends on length, height, style (feather-edge vs lap panels), number of posts and gates, ground conditions and access. Ballpark: replacing a small back-garden run is very different from a full boundary reset. We give you a fixed price after seeing the site.
How long does fencing installation take?+
A typical back-garden run of 15–20 metres, straight ground, one gate, takes two to three days including removal of the old fencing. Longer or more complex jobs run correspondingly longer. We give you a realistic timeframe with the quote.
Do you replace individual damaged panels?+
Yes. If the rest of the fence run is sound, we're happy to do one-off panel repairs. If the whole run is failing and repairs will keep recurring, we'll say so honestly instead of stringing out repeat visits.
Do you use concrete or timber posts?+
Concrete posts as standard for anything meant to last in this climate. Timber posts are an option for lower-cost or picket-style work where the exposed post is part of the look, but we'll be clear on the shorter lifespan.
Can you match my existing fencing?+
In most cases yes, feather-edge, closeboard and standard lap-panel sizes are widely available. Very old or unusual profiles may need a compromise; we'll show you options at the quote.
Do you make and hang matching gates?+
Yes, matching side gates and field gates are part of the fencing service, hung on properly-braced posts with quality ironmongery.
What about my neighbour's side of the fence?+
You own and maintain your side of the boundary as legally documented. If a neighbour wants to share the job, a good idea, since it's cheaper and looks better, we can coordinate that, but each side of the boundary is billed to whoever owns it.
Which areas do you cover for fencing?+
Inverness, Nairn, Dingwall, Alness, Invergordon, Aviemore, the Black Isle, Muir of Ord and Beauly plus surrounding villages.
